Head coach Quin Snyder has agreed to a contract extension with the Utah Jazz, sources confirmed to The Salt Lake Tribune on Saturday.
Snyder had two years remaining on his deal, and was granted a multiyear extension beyond that.
In five seasons as the Jazz’s coach, he has accumulated a record of 227-183 (.554). After beginning with a pair of sub-.500 seasons, he has guided the Jazz to a combined 149-97 (.606) record over the past three seasons. Utah qualified for the postseason in each of those three campaigns, and reached the Western Conference semifinals in both 2017 and ’18.
