Police in Ogden fired on a person Tuesday afternoon following a reported robbery downtown, officers reported.
It is the second shooting by Ogden officers in less than a week, and the third in less than a month.
The shooting occurred near 12th Street and Depot Drive at about 4 p.m., police said. Dispatchers confirmed there was a robbery reported at that location about the same time, but it is not clear how or whether the robbery may have been related to the shooting.

Police did not immediately report whether the subject was hit by the gunfire or disclose the person’s condition.
