Two more NFL local ties were waived by teams Sunday, as the first full weekend of preseason games wrapped up.
Former BYU fullback Algernon Brown was waived by the New York Jets, while the Washington Redskins waived former Ute Kendal Thompson with an injury designation.
Brown spent just over a week with the Jets after signing with the team following his release by the Seattle Seahawks on July 29.
