That was certainly the case Thursday at the Huntsman Center as the Knights roared to a 35-18 halftime lead over Davis and coasted to a 72-48 win in their Class 6A boys’ basketball state quarterfinal.
Though Pleasant Grove came close twice, the top-ranked Knights have not been challenged often by Utah teams this season. Nothing seems to phase them as they confidently go about the business of winning.
Lone Peak’s only three losses came against nationally known powers. You get the impression that there is little the state’s most dominant program in recent years hasn’t seen this season.
