EAST LANSING, Mich.—The Utah State Aggies will begin their 2018 campaign with a tall task Friday night as they face the 11th-ranked Michigan State Spartans on the road.

The Spartans finished 2017 with a 10-3 record and a No. 15 ranking after beating the Washington State Cougars in the Holiday Bowl. The Aggies concluded last season with a 6-7 record, falling in the Arizona Bowl to the New Mexico State Aggies.
