Now that Salt Lake City no longer allows plastic bags in the blue curbside recycling bins, I have a good idea for what to do with the plastic bags delivered every day with my newspaper. I fold them up every day and put them in one of the newspaper bags. When the bag is stuffed full, I set it outside on my porch in the morning and my newspaper carrier takes it when dropping off the paper. She can re-use the bags for the papers again. Reduce, reuse, recycle!
Letter: Who says you can't recycle bags? Give them back to the newspaper carrier
