The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints continued its move away from the monikers “Mormon” and “LDS” on Tuesday by introducing its new web address.
The church’s homepage is moving to ChurchofJesusChrist.org. News from the Utah-based faith will be found at Newsroom.ChurchofJesusChrist.org, though as of Tuesday morning, that link didn’t appear to be working.
The old homepage was found at LDS.org or Mormon.org. Last year, church President Russell M. Nelson asked members, journalists and the public to begin referring to the church’s full name.
