Yoeli Childs led the way with 28 points and seven rebounds, while Jahshire Hardnett added a career-high 20 points on 6 of 7 shooting. He was 3 for 4 from 3-point range and 5 of 5 from the free-throw line.
The Cougars (5-1) shot 56 percent from the field and 36 percent from the 3-point line.
TJ Haws tied a career-high with eight assists and also chipped in 18 points.
