Logan • Gary Andersen was officially introduced as the head coach of the Utah State football team Tuesday during a news conference at Maverik Stadium.
Andersen spoke after remarks from USU president Noelle Cockett and athletic director Jon Hartwell. He assured the dozens of Aggies fans of his desire to make Utah State a perennial winner fo double-digit games every season.
“A consistent winner would be something that be absolutely a dream of mine to be able to bring that to Utah State,” Andersen said.
Andersen’s hire comes just two weeks after Matt Wells resigned and took the lead job at Texas Tech.
