Logan • The major shake-up of Utah State's football coaching staff is continuing.
The Aggies have lost three assistants since completing a 6-7 season with a 23-21 loss at Akron in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl on Dec. 22. Utah State lost five of its last seven games.
Safeties coach Joe Lorig became the latest assistant to leave the program. It was announced over the weekend he will join a new staff at Memphis as the linebacker coach and special teams coordinator. Lorig just completed his second season at Utah State.
Lorig joins Josh Heupel, Ikaika Malloe and possibly Kevin Clune as Utah State assistants who are leaving Logan.
