LOGAN — Utah State learned a couple of important things about Devante Mays when the junior running back broke free for his first touchdown as an Aggie at Fresno State on Oct. 10.
First, it takes a lot to stop the 5-foot-11, 220-pound Texan. And second, Mays knows how to hang onto the football.
After being held out of the end zone during his first four games at the FBS-level, the transfer from Blinn Junior College in Brenham, Texas, was lined up in a two-back set with LaJuan Hunt on second and goal at the Fresno State 5-yard line with 10 minutes left in the second quarter.
