LOGAN — Utah State’s hopes of regaining the mythical Jim Bridger rifle were shot down by the Cowboys with a strong fourth-quarter performance by Wyoming Saturday night at Maverik Stadium.
Down 23-16 early in the quarter, the Cowboys regained the lead behind a field goal and a 28-yard touchdown pass by Josh Allen, then Wyoming secured the victory by recovering a USU fumble and sacking Aggie quarterback Kent Myers for a safety in the final three minutes.
