SALT LAKE CITY — Utah State wide receiver Travis Van Leeuwen caught a leaping 15-yard touchdown pass with 24 seconds remaining in the half to make it a tie game at halftime, as the Aggies and Utes head into the break knotted at 14-14 Friday night at Rice-Eccles Stadium.
It's been a tight first half, as Utah has 208 total yards to 187 for Utah State, which went 76 yards on nine plays in 1:25 on the game-tying drive right before halftime.
The Utes, however, ended the half without starting quarterback Travis Wilson, who was hurt on a 37-yard run that helped set up a Devontae Booker touchdown run with 6:46 remaining in the second quarter.
