Utah women's basketball coach Lynne Roberts will have to wait until at least Friday to earn her 300th career victory, after Providence took a 67-60 win Monday night at the Huntsman Center.
Roberts' record is 299-233 in 18 seasons at Chico State, Pacific and Utah.
Having trailed 41-26 at halftime, Utah opened the third quarter with a 17-2 run to tie the game.
Sophomore forward Mary Baskerville scored 16 of her 17 points for Providence in the first half, but picked up two quick fouls in the third quarter and Utah took advantage of her absence.
