A baby zebra born last week at Utah’s Hogle Zoo will make her first public appearance at the zoo on Tuesday.
Clementine was born Tuesday, Oct. 23, weighing in at 85 pounds, zoo officials said Monday.
It’s the third Hartmann’s Mountain zebra born at Hogle Zoo, and the second born to Zoe, who gave birth to Poppy last year. Both were sired by Ziggy, who also was the father of Zibby, who was born to a different mother in June.
“Clementine has no fear,” Melissa Farr, lead keeper of Hogle’s African Savanna section, said in a statement.
