Brad Rock: Quarterbacking is becoming a part time job

SALT LAKE CITY –Take a good long look at the guy a few rows down at the theater, or the one at the pump buying gas. He could soon be wearing a football uniform at a stadium near you.

What you see on the roster card isn’t necessarily what you’ll get.

Friday at Rice-Eccles Stadium, the Utes bore down to beat a determined Utah State, 24-14. Utah quarterback Travis Wilson made it as far as the mid-second quarter before going down, appearing to injure his left shoulder and not returning.

So plan on another season of revolving quarterback.
