Bob Welti, the smiling weatherman at Salt Lake City’s KSL-TV from the 1960s to 1991, has died at the age of 94.
Welti’s death was reported Tuesday afternoon in a tweet posted by KSL anchor Dave McCann.

Welti was one of a trio who embodied KSL’s on-air personality for decades, alongside lead anchor Dick Nourse and sportscaster Paul James.
