The Salt Lake Bees snapped a five game losing streak with a 7-5 win over the host Tacoma Rainiers in a Pacific Coast League game Sunday.
The Bees jumped in front with two runs in the first inning on a solo homer by Matt Thaiss, his 14th of the season, and an RBI single by Kaleb Cowart.
Taylor Ward drew a bases loaded walk in the second for a 3-0 lead, and Cowart added a two-run single in the fourth to extend the lead to 5-0.
After Tacoma scored twice in the fourth, Salt Lake got those runs back in the fifth on a two-run homer by Ryan Scott.
