Senior guard Sedrick Barefield's 15 points and six assists helped Utah take a 76-62 victory over Northern Arizona in men's basketball Friday night at the Huntsman Center.
Barefield came off the bench for the second game in a row and continued to thrive in that role, having scored 16 points in Monday's defeat of Florida A&M.
Freshman forward Riley Battin contributed 13 points and Timmy Allen, another freshman, added 12 for Utah (6-5). The Utes have won consecutive games for the first time this season. NAU (2-8) has lost seven straight games to conclude its nonconference schedule.
