The assistant fire chief of central Utah’s Kanosh has been charged with rape in a second case stemming from his time at the department.
Austin James Corry, 26, was charged Wednesday with one count of felony rape. The new filing comes from a second victim, two months after he was charged with raping a fellow firefighter whom he supervised.
In the newest allegation, a woman says she was delivering cookies to Corry there sometime in November 2016. When she got to his office, he locked the door behind her, according to a probable cause statement, and then attacked her.
