The kid from American Fork looked around at 100 of the best high school basketball prospects in the country in the same arena, and he had a thought: “I deserve to be here.”
And Isaac Johnson, the 6-foot-11 junior, hopes he made the same impression on everyone else at the National Basketball Association Players Top 100 camp last week in Charlottesville, Va.
“I wanted to make sure people know that I deserved to be there,” Johnson said. “I went last year as well and this year I was just more comfortable with everything, how it goes, the level of play.
