Aggies managed to outlast Arkansas State in marathon game Friday

LOGAN — Aggie mascot Big Blue was on hand for Utah State's "White Out" against the Red Wolves.

But despite all the red, white and blue at Maverik Stadium Friday night, yellow seemed to be the most prevalent color in USU's 34-20 victory over Arkansas State.

In a game that lasted three hours and 54 minutes, the Red Wolves (0-3) were whistled for 18 infractions at the cost of 129 total yards. While Utah State (2-1) had just six penalties for 54 yards, two of those were pass interference calls against safety Dallin Leavitt that helped to radically change the game in the third quarter.
