LOGAN — Utah State's golf team will travel to Arroyo Grande, California, this week to compete in the Cal Poly-hosted Match Play Championships on Monday and Tuesday, March 25-26 at the Cypress Ridge Golf Course.
The Cypress Ridge course measures 6,803 yards for the tournament and will play as a par 72.
UC Santa Barbara is seeded No. 1 and will face No. 8 Weber State in the opening round Monday. Also in the upper bracket is No. 4 Sacramento State and fifth-seeded Cal Poly, with tee times set for 8 to 8:50 a.m. Both matches are from the first tee.
