A true instate, down to the wire battle, Aggies skim by Wildcats in final seconds

OGDEN — Back-and-forth, down to the wire, 11 lead changes, a one-point game in the final seconds—now that’s a true instate battle.

Players of the night: Shane Rector and Lew Evans. The duo came off the Aggie bench to combine for 32 points, including a combined 12-for-23 shooting performance from the field.

The Aggies took their largest lead of the game—nine-points—lead with just under four minutes to play, and it felt like the deal was sealed.

The Wildcats had other plans.

Kyndahl Hill slammed a dunk to reenergize the Wildcats, before a single Aggie free-throw was followed by a pair of free throws from WSU’s McKay Cannon.
