Two people were killed and five were injured when a truck drove off the side of a mountain early Saturday morning in Weber County.
Weber County Sheriff Office’s deputies learned of the crash around 4:40 a.m. When they arrived at the scene — near 7000 N. Middle Fork Drive in an unincorporated part of the county — they found a truck approximately 160 feet away from the road and in a ravine, according to a news release.
First responders found seven people at the crash site. Medics pronounced two people dead. Two others were flown to the hospital, while two more were taken away by ambulance.
