Williams, Boozer, and the 2008 “Redeem Team” Inducted to Hall of Fame

The 2008 U.S. Men’s Olympic Basketball Team—famously known as the “Redeem Team”—has officially been inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. The team includes Utah Jazz stars Deron Williams and Carlos Boozer.

The team included LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh, Dwight Howard, Carmelo Anthony, Michael Redd, Chris Paul, Jason Kidd, and Taurean Prince, along with D-Will and Booz. After the USA underachieved in 2004 by only winning the bronze medal, the American stars came together to redeem themselves and went 8-0 in the 2008 Olympics to win gold.
