Who is Tyler Cavanaugh?

The Jazz announced they had signed Tyler Cavanaugh to a two-way deal Wednesday afternoon. If your reaction was the same as mine (uh, who?) then this downbeat is for you.

Cavanaugh played college ball at Wake Forest for two seasons before transferring to George Washington University in 2015 where he played his final two seasons. He averaged 18 points and 8 rebounds during his senior season, and had plenty of games where got buckets.

He led GWU to an NIT championship in 2017, where he carried the team on his back and won tournament MVP.
