SALT LAKE CITY — Grayson Allen was one of six prospects invited to Zions Bank Basketball Campus on June 4, 2018, for a pre-draft workout at the Utah Jazz’s practice facility.
Even while matched up against a competitive group of college studs, the former Duke star stood out in an hourlong session, then drilled 66 of his 100 shots during the infamous Jazz 100 drill at the very end.
“It went really well. It was a good workout,” Allen said, before being taken 21st overall by the Jazz at the 2018 NBA draft. “I definitely was sucking wind at the beginning because of the altitude, but it was a great workout.
