SALT LAKE CITY — Utah Jazz forward Gordon Hayward has long been an outspoken advocate of the video gaming industry.
On Tuesday night at the Microsoft store inside City Creek Center, Hayward gave fans a chance to go up against him in FIFA 16, the most recent soccer title made by Electronic Arts.
Put on by HyperX, a company Hayward has a sponsorship with, the event also provided fans the opportunity to take photos with him.
"It's definitely huge now," he said of the gaming community. "I think it's only going to get bigger."
