Objectivism probably goes out the window with this one, but it must be said–I kind of love Jack Cooley. The way in which he mucked up games for the Utah Jazz during summer league play should serve as a lesson for the rest of the roster in how to endear yourself to a fan base and a coaching staff.
Apparently Cooley could also teach his teammates a thing or two about comedic performance.
Wearing a microphone during a practice session in Las Vegas, the former Notre Dame big man was in rare form, singing during warm-ups, taunting Levi Randolph for going to Alabama and complimenting himself on a killer outlet pass among to name a few of his feats–
With 13 players already under contract and Bryce Cotton, Chris Johnson and Elijah Millsap all presumably battling with Cooley for one of the remaining roster spots, it’s hard to see Cooley making the team on a full-time basis.
