If you’re a longtime fan of the Utah Jazz (or the NBA in general, really) you probably know all about Mad Max. No, not George Miller’s classic post-apocalyptic action flicks — I’m talking about Vernon Maxwell, who played with as much violence on the court as is offered in those movies.
Over the years, he had his battles with just about everyone, from Michael Jordan and Charles Barkley to Jazz greats John Stockton and Karl Malone, with whom he went toe-to-toe on many an occasion as a member of the Houston Rockets and the Sacramento Kings.
