SALT LAKE CITY — Utah Jazz waived forwards Jack Cooley and JJ O'Brien on Tuesday.
Cooley played 16 games last season for the Jazz after getting a call up from the minor-league Idaho Stampede.
A one-time Runnin' Ute, O'Brien played for the Jazz in both summer leagues.
The team's roster now stands at 18 players. The maximum the team can have to start the season is 15.
