The offseason is drawing ever closer to its conclusion, but Utah Jazz GM Dennis Lindsey’s wheeling and dealing continues. After signing second-round picks Joel Bolomboy and Marcus Paige last week, Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical reports that the Jazz have traded center Tibor Pleiss to the Philadelphia 76ers.
The Jazz acquired point guard Kendall Marshall in the deal, which also included future picks and cash considerations going to the Sixers. However, Marshall won’t remain with the Jazz. Wojnarowski is reporting that Utah will waive the journeyman playmaker before his deal for the 2016-17 season becomes guaranteed.
