Earlier this week, Carlos Boozer announced on ESPN that he’s officially retired as a basketball player. The 36-year-old former Jazzman last played in the NBA for the Los Angeles Lakers in 2015. However, his best days as a pro came during his six-year run with the Utah Jazz from 2004 to 2010.
During that time, he and the Jazz accomplished a lot together. Boozer was an All-NBA selection, a two-time All-Star and brought home two Olympic medals; a bronze in ’04 and gold in ’08. Meanwhile, with he and Deron Williams leading the charge, the Jazz advanced to the West Finals in ’07 and became a perennial 50-game winner thereafter.
