Utah Jazz TBT: JP Gibson Signs One-Day Contract

It was nearly one year ago that JP Gibson, a five-year-old boy who was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia as a toddler, signed a one-day contract with the Utah Jazz. He would go on to take the court with the team in an intra-squad scrimmage and realize his basketball dreams.

It was undoubtedly one of the greatest moments in franchise history for the Jazz and one that inspired the masses. ABC News was there to document Gibson’s story–
