One of the offseason highlights for Utah Jazz fans is undoubtedly NBA summer league action. More specifically, the opportunity to see up-and-coming Jazzmen and recent draftees get out on the court and show their potential. For hoops junkies, it’s a hardwood oasis in the offseason desert.
This was especially the case last year, when the franchise announced the return of summer league ball to Utah. The newly-christened Utah Jazz Summer League was a major success, attracting more than 31,000 fans to Vivint Arena over a three-day period last summer.
The team had previously ceased operation of the Rocky Mountain Revue summer league in 2008.
