The Utah Jazz may not have pulled off any moves before the NBA Trade Deadline, but their D-League affiliate continues to shuffle its roster. In fact, the Salt Lake City Stars announced multiple roster transactions on Friday.
And, for a change, these moves had nothing to do with the comings and goings of Jazz rookie Joel Bolomboy. Instead, they served to bolster the team’s guard line.
First and foremost, Salt Lake acquired guard Brandon Triche from the Delaware 87ers in exchange for returning player rights to forward Jerrelle Benimon.
Benimon last played for the Jazz and their D-League squad during the 2014-15 campaign.
