Utah Jazz sign draft picks Udoka Azubuike, Elijah Hughes

The Utah Jazz announced on Tuesday afternoon that their two 2020 NBA draft selections from last week, Udoka Azubuike and Elijah Hughes, have officially signed with the team.

Azubuike was selected with the 27th pick out of Kansas and Hughes the 39th out of Syracuse. Both selections wound up with the Jazz via trade.

Although terms of the deals were not disclosed like usual, it is perhaps notable that Hughes was signed to a standard contract and not a two-way deal like some had figured he would be.

The Athletic has reported that Utah will use its pair of two-way deals on second-year forward Jarrell Brantley and Florida State guard Trent Forrest.
