Utah Jazz season ticket holders, employees donate tickets to furloughed federal employees

SALT LAKE CITY — Utah Jazz employees and season ticket holders are pitching in to help support furloughed federal employees by offering free tickets.

A limited number of tickets to Friday's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves will be available to eligible federal workers who show a government-issued identification card at Vivint Arena on Friday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Each worker can purchase up to two tickets.

The 7 p.m. game is expected to be the team's 50th sellout in a row. The tickets come from season ticket holders and Utah Jazz employees, the team said in a news release.
