The start of the 2016-17 basketball season draws ever closer as summer nears its end and Utah Jazz players eye their returns to the Beehive State. However, Jazz basketball isn’t the only hardwood action fans will be gearing up for in the weeks ahead.
Following their move to from Idaho to Utah, the team’s D-League affiliate–the Salt Lake City Stars–will also be back on the floor. The Stars released their schedule for the upcoming season on Monday, with a slate of 50 games, two of which will be contested at the D-League showcase in January.
The campaign will begin on November 12 with a road game in South Dakota against the 2016 D-League champion Sioux Falls Skyforce, followed by a bout with the Blue in Oklahoma City three days later.
