Aside from Dante Exum spraining his ankle–a foreshadowing of things to come–and Rodney Hood dealing with shoulder issues, last year’s Utah Jazz Summer League went off without a hitch. According to the team, the event averaged 10,584 fans per day, with a record 12,128 attending the final day of action.
The league gave fans the chance to see some of the team’s young players, including 2015 draft pick Trey Lyles, while they worked to become better Jazzmen.
After the success of last summer’s event, the organization is bringing summer league ball back to Salt Lake City once again, with four teams playing three games each over the course of three days.
