SAN FRANCISCO — Utah Jazz starting point guard George Hill will not play in Game 2 due to soreness in his left big toe.
"Its a big one. It's something he's been fighting all year," Utah Jazz coach Quin Snyder said. "It's been sore. He's been playing through it."
The Jazz, trailing the Golden State Warriors 1-0 in the seven-game series, plays Game 2 tonight at 8:30 p.m.
on ESPN.
"Somebody else has to step up," Gordon Hayward said today during shootaround. "They're definitely capable and they've done it all year. The experience they got during the season with George out is going to help them out.
