The Jazz move the second-year German big man, waive Marshall to create roster flexibility. They now have 14 guaranteed contracts for 2016-2017

Utah traded 7-foot-3 center Tibor Pleiss, who saw action in only a dozen games for the Jazz last season, along with two 2017 second-round draft picks to the Philadelphia 76ers for the rights to guard Kendall Marshall.
