DENVER — Derrick Favors missed a practice. Then the Jazz power forward missed a shootaround. Despite being hounded by flu-like symptoms the past few days, he wasn’t about to miss a game.

For the second night in a row, Favors played after being listed as questionable for most of game day due to his illness.

“I just wanted to be out there for my teammates, but it was definitely tough,” Favors said moments before Thursday’s 96-84 win against the Nuggets.
