The Salt Lake City Stars announced multiple roster moves on Saturday. The D-League affiliate team of the Utah Jazz is officially bringing forward Michale Kyser into the fold. The Stars had previously acquired his returning player rights from Raptors 905 on the eve of last month’s D-League Draft.
To make room for Kyser on the Stars roster, the team waived big man Eric Dawson.
After going undrafted out of Louisiana Tech in 2015, Kyser played for the Toronto Raptors entry into the Las Vegas Summer League. The 6-foot-10, 205-pound big man would go on to spend the year in the D-League with Raptors 905.
