Another former Jazzman has agreed to a deal with a new team. According to Shams Charania of The Vertical, big man Jeff Withey is set to join the Dallas Mavericks. It will be a one-year deal for the 27-year-old center out of Kansas.
Withey played two years with the Jazz, and provided some solid depth behind Rudy Gobert. When Gobert injured his knee during the 2015-16 season, Withey started at center at times, and really gave the Jazz good minutes.
This past season, he averaged 2.9 points and 2.4 rebounds per game for the Jazz.
