Utah Jazz hosting annual free-agent minicamp this week

SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Jazz are taking a brief break from hosting pre-draft workouts.

They are still plenty busy, though.

Twenty-seven NBA hopefuls are working with the Jazz through Thursday in the team's annual free-agent minicamp.

Current Jazz big man Jack Cooley and former Utah shooting guard Patrick Christopher both participated in the 2014 camp.

This year's workout sessions include some familiar names: former Jazz power forward Brock Motum; ex-Clemson baller Devin Booker, the younger brother of Jazzman Trevor Booker; and 2012 Bulls first-round pick Marquis Teague.

Eight players from the previous two minicamps appeared in NBA games during the ensuing seasons, the Jazz pointed out in a press release.
