SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Jazz organization and its fans hope that their new president has an effective good-luck charm. Steve Starks, who has replaced Randy Rigby as the Jazz's president, will represent the team on the stand during the NBA's draft lottery on Tuesday night.

Starks hasn't revealed if he has a token of fortune to help the Jazz leap from the No. 12 position into the top three, but he sought assistance from Jazz fans before leaving for New York.
