Utah Jazz have no answer for Durant, Thunder in gutsy 94-90 loss

SALT LAKE CITY — Quin Snyder wants to win as much as anyone, but the Utah Jazz coach is also as realistic as anyone.

Sometimes, as he’s not shy to share, the talented players on the other team simply make better players than the players on your team.

Friday was one of those nights.

"Those are two of the top five players in the NBA,” Snyder said, referring to Thunder stars Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook. “I don't think there's any shame in losing to a team like that. Sometimes you can play great and the way they play the game and as good as they are, you’re not successful on the scoreboard.
