The Utah Jazz announced today that Taylor Hendricks underwent successful surgery on his broken fibula and dislocated ankle.
From the Utah Jazz press release:
“...Taylor Hendricks underwent successful surgery to address his right fibula fracture and dislocated ankle.
The surgery was performed by Dr. Charles Saltzman and Dr. Devon Nixon at the University of Utah Orthopedic Center in Salt Lake City. Further updates will be provided when appropriate.”
It’s good to hear an update on Hendricks who suffered what looked like an incredibly painful injury. It has been reported that Hendricks will miss the rest of the season, which was unsurprising considering the injury.
